Kara looked over at Louise as she began to re-awaken, "master, she's waking up!"

After saying this, Afracarnus slowly closed his fist, the inferno that had engulfed his mansion simply withered until there was no flame. However, the mansion was, somehow, unscathed by the fire.

Reflections in Waterford
I did something different today.
I walked with my thoughts.
My faithful MP3 player died shortly after I left the house, its useless battery allowing most of one final song play before giving it up as a lost cause. After seriously considering returning home and letting it charge for a while before heading out, I decided to walk without it.
And so, for the first time in quite a while, it is just me and my mind that walk together, hand in hand. I leave the lyrical messages crooned by Nine Inch Nails - God is dead and no one cares and yelled by Mammal - We've been hung up on computers, chat rooms, bills and china dolls far behind
Teenage life is hard enough as it is. Don't ask me why, because I couldn't give you the answer. I don't think anyone can. Some people would blame the parents, others the media, but I think it's something more than that. And I promise you something, if I knew the reason, I'd be the first to explain it.
In the last generation, and those before it, social circles used to be divided more or less by race. Now I'm not saying adults or anyone else are racist, but in my eyes everyone used to be labelled black, Caucasian or just under the afterthought heading of 'foreign.'
